What is Marketing? — The Definition of Marketing

Marketing research is the function that links the customer, buyer, and public to the marketer via advice–suggestions used to determine and define marketing opportunities and problems; generate, refine, and compare advertising actions; display screen advertising functionality; and enhance understanding of advertising as a method. Marketing research specifies the suggestions required to address these issues, designs the tactic for amassing counsel, manages and implements the information collection method, analyzes the outcomes, and communicates the findings and their implications.
