The first computing device networks were links among physical workstations, private and computer computers either linked by ethernet cabling, or later, wirelessly connected. Each desktop had its own actual hard drive, and the hard drives of the computers were often represented by various drive letters on the notebook’s working system interface and various forms of program purposes. A user could go onto a physical computer with its own drive, pull from the computing device’s drive, or log onto community software to access the drive of a different computing device in a different part of a room or building.
