TAAN’s venture is to “increase the intelligence, expertise, reach, and effectiveness of the owners of our individuals via cooperative studying, expert insight, cultural reach, and shared functions. ” It represents 53 member agencies in 29 nations and 63 cities. Each prospective member goes through a six month procedure, which concludes with a worldwide vote of the existing contributors; if greater than two “no” votes are cast, then the agency’s program is denied.
