Classical collaborative filtering, and content based filtering strategies try to be told a static advice model given schooling data. These procedures are removed from ideal in highly dynamic recommendation domains such as news advice and computational commercial, where the set of things and users is terribly fluid. In this work, we examine an adaptive clustering technique for content recommendation in line with exploration exploitation innovations in contextual multi armed bandit settings. Our set of rules takes under consideration the collaborative outcomes that arise because of the interaction of the users with the items, by dynamically grouping users in keeping with the items under consideration and, at a similar time, grouping items in accordance with the similarity of the clusterings precipitated over the users.
The ensuing algorithm thus takes knowledge of preference patterns in the data in a way corresponding to collaborative filtering strategies. We deliver an empirical evaluation on medium size real world datasets, showing scalability and higher prediction performance as measured by click via rate over state-of-the-art methods for clustering bandits. We also deliver a regret analysis within a conventional linear stochastic noise setting.
