Roopal’s career as a woman in the male ruled Plaintiffs’ bar began early in her career when she clerked for Judge Marina Corodemus now retired, who at the time was the Mass Tort Judge of New Jersey—which has probably the most active mass tort dockets in america. Judge Corodemus taught Roopal to be a powerful but fair and balanced voice for girls, that’s a perfect that she still emulates in her apply today. While clerking for Judge Corodemus, on a daily basis, Roopal was guilty for coping with thousands of mass tort cases and a variety of class activities. She worked intently with the judge to develop case management orders and techniques for effectively and successfully coping with and resolving cases. The countrywide litigations that Roopal worked on as a law clerk included the pharmaceutical drugs, Rezulin, Propulsid and PPA, in addition to non pharmaceutical actions equivalent to the highly publicized client fraud class action against Cooper Tire and an environmental mass tort towards Ciba Geigy.
Roopal focuses her practice on representing injured buyers in mass tort litigation. She has spent ample time representing injured women and her commitment to ladies’s causes has been diagnosed by the federal courts. For instance, Judge Herndon of the Southern District of Illinois appointed Luhana and another woman to the Plaintiff Steering Committee in the In re Yasmin and Yaz Drospirenone Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation. Roopal also works closely along with her female clients and co information on transvaginal mesh injury cases, adding cases related to accidents from the Bard Avaulta Mesh and Gynecare Prolift Mesh. She has also gave the impression on the Today Show on women’s issues.
