The Temporary General License authorizes certain activities essential to the persisted operations of latest networks and to aid latest mobile services, adding cybersecurity research vital to keeping up the integrity and reliability of latest and entirely operational networks and equipment. Exporters might be required to hold certifications, to be made available when asked by BIS, concerning their use of the TGL. With the exception of the transactions explicitly licensed by the TGL, any exports, reexports, or in country transfers of items area to the EAR will continue to require a unique license granted after a review by BIS under a presumption of denial. The Department will examine whether to extend the TGL beyond 90 days.
