I use Capterra as a barometer on competitors PPC performance. With the ability to see and get notifications on who is bidding higher, I can get the idea of how much my competitors are spending and how aggressive their electronic advertising efforts. No surprise, often it correlates with Google AdWords and other networks. How so?Each time I see my competitor lowers the bids and drops in rating on Capterra, I check Google search effects and, often, the paid search ads of that competitor go down to boot. It tells me that the agency is slicing or pausing on their advertising budget.

Or, in the event that they accelerate, it’s the indication that I need to keep up in order not to lose talents leads and market share.
