Formerly an officer in the British Royal Navy, John was a pioneering director of Media Run Group, which established a number of online businesses—Media Run Search, Media Run Ad Network, and Blowfish Digital Ad Agency. Following the purchase of Media Run Ad Network by Adknowledge Inc. in 2007, John controlled the Adknowledge Social Games department in Europe. This blanketed the Super Rewards virtual forex platform which monetized Facebook, MMO and Mobile Games, and Cubics—their social show ads platform. After a quick and successful foray into the area of independent online publishing—as founding father of UK website operator, ‘Epirical’—John sold his online interests to Ezoic in 2011 and joined as Chief Customer Officer.
John recently moved back to London to open Ezoic’s London office. Tyler is an award winning marketer that was featured on the cover of the September 15′ STL Biz Journal for his unique strategies to digital advertising and marketing and was covered in the guides 30 Under 30 a similar year. Tyler is presently a 2019 member of the Forbes Communication Council, the host of Pubtelligence digital publishing events held at Google places of work around the world. Considered a digital publishing industry influencer and “expert expert” by his peers, Tyler has had articles featured in a few of the world’s top guides regarding advertising, enterprise, psychology, and even pop tradition. He’s served as a advertising expert for startup boards and has been Ezoic’s head of advertising and marketing since late 2016.
